We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services. In this role, you will play a vital part in patient care by ensuring the precision, reliability, and timeliness of diagnostic testing.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze results and provide comprehensive, reliable reports to support medical diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Ensure proper collection, handling, storage, and documentation of all laboratory specimens.
- Maintain state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and strictly adhere to internal and external quality control procedures.
- Comply with all health, safety, and regulatory standards to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
- Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Possession of a valid and current Medical Laboratory Scientist License from the MLSCN.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC professional work experience in a recognized diagnostic or clinical laboratory setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating both electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment with excellent manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional record-keeping skills, and effective verbal and written communication abilities.
