About the Role
Westcare Specialist Hospital is seeking a qualified and committed Medical Doctor to join our professional healthcare team in Egbeda, Lagos. With a rich history dating back to our founding in 1998 as Ilogbo Central Hospital, we are dedicated to delivering top-tier medical services and compassionate healthcare to our community. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding our clinical standards, providing comprehensive patient care, and contributing to the continuous growth of our medical facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional clinical care to patients in the Outpatient Department (OPD) and other assigned clinical areas.
- Actively participate in regular clinical rounds and contribute insights to complex patient management plans.
- Ensure the timely, accurate, and confidential completion of all medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
- Handle emergency cases promptly and efficiently in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Participate in departmental meetings, continuous medical education (CME) sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Possess an MBBS Degree from a recognized and accredited medical institution.
- Must have completed the mandatory NYSC program and possess a valid Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- Hold a full, unencumbered registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) along with a current practicing license.
- Demonstrate a compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to function effectively and professionally as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
