About the Role
Aldelano Organic Foods Ltd, a pioneer in clean green farming and hydroponic organic greenhouse produce, is seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Engineer / Heavy Duty Generator Technician. In this role, you will ensure the optimal performance of critical farm machinery, minimizing downtime to support our innovative agricultural operations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair diesel generators ranging from 15kVA to 30kVA.
- Troubleshoot engine failures, overheating, fuel system issues, and electrical faults.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules, including oil and filter changes.
- Repair and service gasoline-powered surface water pumps for farm irrigation.
- Maintain and repair motorized and manual agricultural knapsack sprayers.
- Maintain accurate repair logs, manage spare parts, and enforce workplace safety protocols.
- OND, HND, B.Eng., or relevant technical certification in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in generator and small-engine repairs.
- Proven expertise in servicing 15kVA–30kVA diesel generators and irrigation pumps.
- Strong independent troubleshooting skills with a safety-first mindset.
