About the Role
Adkan Services Nigeria Limited, a leading indigenous construction company committed to national development, is seeking a talented and dedicated Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will play a vital part in executing diverse construction projects by ensuring all building mechanical services are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities- Design, review, and supervise mechanical building services installations for residential, commercial, and construction projects.
- Oversee the installation of plumbing, drainage, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings to prevent coordination clashes on site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate seamlessly with electrical engineers, architects, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare technical specifications, bills of quantities, and comprehensive progress reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical building services within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with working knowledge of Revit MEP considered a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of local building regulations, engineering standards, and site safety protocols.
- Professional registration with COREN or eligibility for prompt registration.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
