About the Role
Ekklesiyar Yan'uwa a Nigeria (EYN Projects) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented MEAL Assistant to support our Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning function. In this role, you will ensure that programme activities across food security, livelihoods, GBV, and WASH are effectively monitored, accurately documented, and implemented in accordance with high organizational standards and donor requirements. Key Responsibilities- Collect standard data for all project activities, maintain updated databases, and ensure data integrity through regular audits, random verification, and triangulation.
- Compile and clean data for food security, livelihoods, GBV, and WASH sectors, ensuring proper capture on the GBV-IMS platform.
- Prepare monthly and bimonthly reports in collaboration with program departments and present MEAL findings to guide decision-making.
- Participate in implementing surveys, evaluations, and assessments alongside program personnel and external consultants.
- Document program progress, success stories, and lessons learned while training field staff on effective M&E tools and PSEA compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Information Management, Public Health, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data collection, management, and analysis, preferably within an NGO or humanitarian setting.
- Proficiency in English and Hausa, with strong computer skills and experience using statistical analysis tools and GBV-IMS.
