Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Mathematics Teacher at Amao College, you will be responsible for shaping young minds and building a strong foundation in analytical thinking. Your core duties will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and comprehensive Mathematics lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Preparing students adequately for internal examinations as well as external assessments such as the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop departmental strategies and participate in school co-curricular activities.

- Possession of a relevant academic qualification, including an M.Sc, M.A, B.Sc, B.Tech, or B.Ed Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics in a structured secondary school environment.
- Strong passion for teaching with excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to utilize modern teaching methodologies to simplify complex mathematical concepts for students.
