Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Mathematics lessons tailored to Junior Secondary School (JSS) students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages participation from vulnerable and underserved students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to improve academic outcomes.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a conducive and focused learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and administration staff to develop curriculum enhancements and extracurricular youth empowerment activities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed), B.Sc, or NCE in Mathematics or a closely related field.
  • Valid teaching certification and proven classroom teaching experience, preferably at the Junior Secondary School level.
  • Strong working knowledge of mathematics concepts with the ability to explain them clearly to diverse learners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Deep passion for working with children, orphans, and vulnerable students in a humanitarian context.
