Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons in core mathematical disciplines including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics.
- Teach step-by-step problem-solving techniques and encourage logical, analytical thinking in all students.
- Assess student performance through homework, problem sets, diagnostic tests, and cumulative examinations.
- Differentiate math instruction to support students who require extra help while appropriately challenging advanced learners.
- Integrate educational technology, such as dynamic graphing tools and interactive displays, into daily lesson plans.
- Maintain an orderly, encouraging classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking academic risks.
- Track academic progress and communicate regularly with parents, department heads, and school counselors.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related quantitative field; Master's degree is preferred.
- Valid state or national teaching credential for secondary mathematics.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching middle school or high school mathematics.
- Proficiency with graphing calculators, mathematical visualization software like Desmos and GeoGebra, and learning management systems.
- High patience, exceptional step-by-step explanatory skills, strong classroom management, and an encouraging demeanor.
