Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver well-structured, engaging, and interactive Mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and ability levels.
  • Plan comprehensive schemes of work and daily lesson plans aligned with the school's blended British and Nigerian curricula.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students, providing constructive and timely feedback.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Integrate practical, real-life examples into lessons to deepen students' understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, school leadership, and parents to support holistic student development and academic goals.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development training.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (NCE or relevant teaching certifications are also welcome).
  • Proven teaching experience within a nursery or primary school setting, ideally familiar with both British and Nigerian educational standards.
  • Strong command of primary mathematics pedagogy with excellent classroom management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • A genuine passion for teaching children and a commitment to upholding high moral and academic values.
