Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the approved secondary school curriculum.
- Explain complex mathematical concepts clearly using diverse teaching methodologies and instructional materials.
- Design and administer classwork, homework, quizzes, tests, and examinations to evaluate student learning.
- Monitor academic progress and provide targeted remedial support to students needing additional assistance.
- Integrate modern educational technology and digital learning tools into daily instruction.
- Promote critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities among all students.
- Prepare students thoroughly for key internal and external examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of student assessments, academic grades, and behavioral progress.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom management environment.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate professionally with colleagues, school management, and parents regarding student development.
- Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Education (Mathematics), or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification or verifiable eligibility for registration.
- Proven secondary school teaching experience within a reputable institution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school mathematics curriculum and examination standards.
