Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics and Further Mathematics for secondary school students.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the Nigerian and British curricula to foster deep mathematical understanding.
- Integrate mindfulness and mentoring techniques into daily teaching practices to support student well-being and cognitive development.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience teaching Mathematics and Further Mathematics in a reputable secondary school.
- Exceptional knowledge of the secondary school mathematics curriculum and examination requirements.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills with a passion for holistic child development.
