About the Role
El-Elyon Alliance & Securities LTD (EASL), a fully licensed Broker/Dealer regulated by the SEC and NGX, is seeking an experienced and visionary Managing Director to lead our next phase of growth. In this executive role, you will steer our corporate strategy, expand our market share in shares and bonds, and spearhead our digital transformation while ensuring full compliance with the Nigerian capital market regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the CEO and Board to formulate and execute the annual strategic business plan, driving profitability and market expansion.
- Accelerate business growth by increasing active clients, trading volumes, and overall revenue streams across equities and fixed income.
- Lead strategic digital initiatives, including the rollout of innovative financial products and technological advancements.
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and capital restructuring to successfully meet the SEC's minimum capital requirements by June 2027.
- Act as the primary company representative to the SEC, NGX, commercial banks, and high-value institutional clients.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of financial professionals to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; an MBA or MSc is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in the Nigerian capital market, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior management role within a stockbroking or investment firm.
- Active Chartered Stockbroker (CIS) certification and full eligibility for SEC registration as Managing Director.
- Demonstrated track record of scaling a financial institution, backed by quantifiable metrics in revenue, client acquisition, and trade volume.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Investments and Securities Act, alongside SEC and NGX operational guidelines.
- Bonus qualifications include FCIS, CFA, IoD membership, fintech experience, and familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems or AI workplace tools.
