We are currently seeking a passionate, skilled, and detail-oriented Makeup Artist to join our growing organization. In this exciting role, you will collaborate closely with photographers, stylists, and directors to create compelling visual aesthetics for our aspiring and professional talents during photoshoots, castings, and promotional events.
Key Responsibilities- Design and apply creative, high-fashion, and commercial makeup looks tailored to specific model portfolios and shoot themes.
- Collaborate with the creative team including photographers, hair stylists, and creative directors to ensure cohesive visual styling.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-organized makeup kit with high-quality cosmetics and tools.
- Provide quick touch-ups and maintain makeup integrity throughout active photoshoots and events.
- Assess model skin types and apply appropriate skincare preparation prior to makeup application.
- Stay updated with current beauty trends, fashion industry standards, and innovative application techniques.
- Proven professional experience as a Makeup Artist within the fashion, beauty, or modeling industry.
- Relevant certification or formal training in professional makeup artistry is a strong advantage.
- A comprehensive portfolio showcasing diverse makeup styles, ranging from editorial high-fashion to natural everyday looks.
- Deep understanding of skin tones, facial structures, and lighting requirements for photography.
- Strong communication skills, exceptional time management, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
- Based in Lagos Mainland or able to commute reliably to Lagos Mainland, Lagos.
