About the Role
AMO Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited, a market leader in the Day Old Chicks industry dedicated to guaranteeing profitable poultry farming through exceptional quality products, is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficient operation of all machinery, equipment, utilities, buildings, and technical infrastructure across our farm.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for farm equipment, machinery, facilities, and utilities.
- Lead the maintenance team, allocate daily operational priorities, and manage third-party contractors and service providers.
- Monitor the performance of critical production equipment, ensuring timely identification and resolution of breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Manage maintenance-related budgets, spare parts inventory, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures to enhance overall reliability.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and safe maintenance practices.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of new equipment and facilities while preparing regular performance reports for management.
- B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in maintenance management within poultry, agriculture, manufacturing, or food processing environments.
- Strong expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proven track record in team leadership, budget management, and vendor negotiations.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills with proficiency in maintenance reporting systems.
