About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a leading indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Nigeria, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Machinist to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, machining, and repairing mechanical spare parts required for the efficient operation of our production machinery. Your expertise will directly support equipment reliability, preventive maintenance schedules, and the minimization of production downtime across our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture, machine, and repair mechanical spare parts in strict accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Operate specialized machining tools and equipment to produce accurate, functional, and durable machine components.
- Identify worn-out or damaged parts and fabricate suitable replacements to prevent production delays.
- Implement planned preventive maintenance schedules and support timely equipment repairs.
- Coordinate with warehouse and stores departments to monitor spare parts inventory levels and ensure critical components are replenished.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all machining, fabrication, and maintenance activities.
- Vocational or technical training certification in Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Proven ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical diagrams accurately.
- Strong practical knowledge of workshop tools, fabrication techniques, and mechanical safety procedures.
