Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is partnering with a leading manufacturing client to recruit a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator for our nylon processing unit. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing lifecycle, ensuring that all polythene and nylon production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot nylon and polythene processing and production machinery.
  • Set up machine parameters meticulously in accordance with specific product requirements.
  • Maintain precise daily production logs covering output levels, material wastage, and machine downtime.
  • Optimize machine efficiency while strictly minimizing raw material waste.
  • Adhere to tight production schedules to consistently meet daily and weekly output targets.
  • Comply fully with all workplace health, safety, and environmental protection guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Production, Maintenance, and Quality Control teams to resolve technical hitches.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, mechanical defects, and quality deviations immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an SSCE or OND qualification; additional technical certifications or vocational training are a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience of 3 to 5 years operating machinery within nylon, polythene, plastic, packaging, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Proven hands-on familiarity with industrial nylon processing equipment and automated production lines.
  • Solid grasp of standard manufacturing workflows, quality control measures, and machine safety protocols.
  • Strong physical stamina, resilience, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure to achieve targets.
