About the Role
Bell Oil & Gas, a leading independent oil services company in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Logistics Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient movement of oilfield materials, and maintaining compliance with all import and export regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate base operations and oversee inbound and outbound goods validations.
- Ensure timely dispatch of validated goods and manage Form M and PAAR processing.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and clearing agents to coordinate seamless port operations.
- Plan and schedule shipments, allocate resources, optimize routes, and execute contingency planning.
- Manage oilfield materials, including OCTG handling, storage, and inventory control.
- Ensure strict adherence to supply chain processes, safety compliance, and risk management policies.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly logistics reports to management.
- Minimum of a University Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain management within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of import/export legislation, transportation management, and global trade regulations.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to drive comfortably.
