We are currently seeking an experienced, analytical, and highly organized Logistics Manager to optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations, manage our dispatch fleet, and ensure exceptional service delivery for our growing customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily transportation, route planning, and fleet operations to guarantee timely package deliveries within Benin-City and surrounding areas.
- Supervise warehouse workflows, inventory management, sorting, and order fulfillment to maintain strict data accuracy.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse staff.
- Track critical performance metrics such as on-time delivery rates, shipping accuracy, and cost-to-serve, providing regular reports to executive leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with local road transport regulations and company safety standards while proactively mitigating supply chain bottlenecks.
- Negotiate terms with vendors and third-party logistics partners to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, or transport operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and composure under pressure during operational disruptions.
- Outstanding negotiation, communication, and commercial acumen for managing internal teams and external vendors.
- Deep familiarity with the terrain and logistics landscape of Benin-City is a strong advantage.
