About the Role
Egbin Power Plc, located in Lagos, is the largest single generating power station in Sub-Saharan Africa, dedicated to meeting the rising electricity demands of Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Manager to oversee our end-to-end supply chain logistics, ensuring the seamless availability of high-quality materials for our plant operations.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of shipping, transportation, and logistics arrangements for all procurement activities.
- Manage third-party logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and port authorities to ensure timely delivery.
- Utilize expertise in INCOTERMS, taxation, and import policies to secure optimal cost savings and tax exemptions.
- Execute inbound and outbound logistics plans while maintaining strict compliance with statutory regulations and import clearances.
- Implement data protection policies, ensuring adherence to the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
- Promote and maintain QHSE policies and the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001) standards across all operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, Transportation, or Engineering.
- Post-graduate degree in a related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation operations.
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs clearance, contract law, and supply chain IT systems.
