Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Literature in English lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian and international curriculum.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical analysis of literary texts.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a conducive and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, departmental meetings, and professional development programs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student academic performance and behavioral development.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a specialization in English (B.Ed., B.A.Ed., or B.Sc.Ed.).
- Valid registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) or a strong willingness to obtain it promptly.
- Minimum of two years of verified teaching experience in a reputable secondary educational institution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of secondary school Literature in English curricula and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and ICT tools to enhance classroom instruction.
