About the Role
Kimeric Nigeria Limited is a reputable provider of quality onshore and offshore supply and engineering services to the oil and gas industry in Nigeria and the West African sub-region. We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Drilling Engineer to deliver exceptional engineering planning, design, surveillance, and technical support to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling and well completion operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive Drilling Basis of Design documentation, encompassing casing design, torque and drag analysis, and hydraulics.
- Develop functional specifications and detailed scopes of work for various drilling equipment and related services.
- Provide expert technical guidance and engineering support to dynamic Operations and Development teams.
- Ensure that all well objectives are fully achieved while maintaining the highest industry standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection.
- Monitor daily drilling operations closely and identify strategic opportunities to improve regional well construction performance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven extensive experience in well planning, drilling design, and operational execution within the oil and gas sector.
- Demonstrated background with international assignments and deepwater drilling engineering projects.
- Proficiency in utilizing advanced industry well design software and standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and complex problem-solving skills with professional fluency in English.
