About the Role
Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited is a leading player in Nigeria's agricultural and poultry value chain, committed to sustainable industry growth and market leadership. We are seeking a competent, commercially minded and bilingual Legal Officer to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional legal advisory and operational support across our business functions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide timely legal advice and risk assessments to management on daily commercial and operational matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate and manage diverse commercial agreements, supply contracts, and memoranda of understanding.
- Ensure continuous corporate compliance with relevant Nigerian laws, agricultural regulations, and statutory bodies.
- Manage legal correspondence, contract translations, and stakeholder engagements in both English and French.
- Assist in managing external litigation, dispute resolution, and maintain comprehensive records of ongoing legal proceedings.
- Support corporate governance initiatives, board resolutions, and strategic cross-border partnerships involving Francophone markets.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized university and mandatory call to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
- 3 to 5 years of post-call legal experience within a corporate, FMCG, manufacturing, or agricultural environment.
- Complete professional fluency and strong communication skills in both English and French are strictly required.
- Proven expertise in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and corporate law.
