Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Lecturer III in Quantity Surveying to join our prestigious School of Environmental Studies. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students in Quantity Surveying.
- Develop and update course curriculum, teaching materials, and assessment methods in line with regulatory standards.
- Supervise student projects, research assignments, and industrial training attachments.
- Conduct impactful academic and applied research in the field of Quantity Surveying and construction economics.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional accreditation exercises.
- Engage in community service and institutional linkages with commerce and industry.
- A Master's degree in Quantity Surveying or a closely related relevant discipline, along with at least two (2) published conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, backed by at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, plus two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) presented conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
