Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer III in Office Technology Management (Bilingual Studies) within the School of Management and Business Studies. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical training in Office Technology Management and Bilingual Studies to National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and instructional resources aligned with current industry standards.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish scholarly articles, and actively participate in academic conferences and seminars.
- Supervise student projects, industrial attachments, and academic research activities.
- Provide mentorship, academic counseling, and career guidance to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committee assignments, and general administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, accompanied by at least two (2) published conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, plus a minimum of three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, alongside two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with at least three (3) years of satisfactory service and two (2) conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
- Strong proficiency in bilingual studies and office technology applications.
