Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic academics for the position of Lecturer III in Computer and Robotics Education within the School of Technical Education. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Computer and Robotics Education to undergraduate students across various National Diploma and Higher National Diploma programmes.
- Design, update, and implement curriculum content that aligns with modern technological advancements and industry standards in computing and robotics.
- Conduct high-quality academic research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and actively participate in departmental seminars and conferences.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research dissertations, and industrial training attachments.
- Participate in student academic advising, mentoring, and departmental administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Education, Robotics Education, or a closely relevant discipline, accompanied by at least two (2) published conference or seminar papers.
- Alternatively, a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline, plus at least three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience, alongside two (2) conference or seminar papers.
- Serving Assistant Lecturers with a minimum of three (3) years of satisfactory service and at least two (2) presented conference or seminar papers are also eligible to apply.
