About the Role
Christopher University, promoted by Translucent Management Services, is dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and industry through robust local and international corporate linkages. We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to join our academic team as a Lecturer II in Political Science within the School of Social Sciences at our campus in Mowe, Ogun State. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality education that prepares students for the dynamic manpower needs of both the public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Political Science undergraduate programs.
- Develop and update curriculum content that aligns with modern academic standards and industry demands.
- Mentor, advise, and guide students on academic progress, career paths, and research opportunities.
- Conduct impactful research and contribute to scholarly publications in reputable journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and community service initiatives.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Political Science or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree holder in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution.

- Evidence of scholarly publications will be considered an added advantage for Ph.D. holders.
