Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Develop and update course curriculum, teaching materials, and assessment methods in line with NUC guidelines.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, laboratory practicals, and academic assignments.
- Provide comprehensive academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, committee works, and university community service.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Alternatively, holders of a Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
- Evidence of academic publications in peer-reviewed journals will be a distinct added advantage.
- Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body (e.g., MLSCN) is mandatory.
