Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Mechanical Engineering.
- Develop, update, and review curricula in alignment with NUC standards and industry best practices.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, theses, and industrial training placements.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and actively seek grant funding.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, contributing to institutional growth and administrative duties.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, career pathways, and professional development.
- Must hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated record of academic research and publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Prior teaching, lecturing, or research experience within a tertiary institution is a distinct advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse student groups.
- Membership in relevant professional engineering bodies such as COREN is highly desirable.
