Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical training in Maternal and Child Health Nursing to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula in alignment with current healthcare standards and university guidelines.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Supervise student research projects, clinical placements, and academic dissertations.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Engage in community service and outreach programs focused on maternal and child healthcare improvements.
- Possession of a relevant PhD degree in Maternal and Child Health Nursing or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated evidence of teaching experience, ongoing research, and scholarly potential.
- Current active professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) or equivalent recognized regulatory body where applicable.
