The University of Benin (UNIBEN) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lecturer II in Insurance to join our esteemed Department of Management Science. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Insurance and related Management Science disciplines.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and curriculum structures in line with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and student internships.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, meetings, and academic events.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their professional and personal growth.
- Must possess a First Degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
- Hold a PhD or a Master's degree in Insurance or a closely related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
