About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to join our academic team as a Lecturer II in Information Technology within the School of Science and Technology at our Mowe, Ogun State campus.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Lecturer II, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of future tech leaders and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution. Your primary duties will include:
- Delivering engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Information Technology and related courses.
- Developing comprehensive curriculum materials, course outlines, and innovative assessment methods aligned with industry standards.
- Mentoring and advising undergraduate students on academic performance, career paths, and research projects.
- Conducting impactful research and publishing scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participating in departmental meetings, committee works, and university community service initiatives.
- Collaborating with industry partners to foster practical learning and internship opportunities for students.
Candidates applying for this position must meet one of the following academic criteria:
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Information Technology or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree holder in the relevant discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution.
- Evidence of scholarly publications will be considered an added advantage for all applicants.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills tailored for modern academic environments.
