Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in cybersecurity and related computing courses to undergraduate students.
- Develop, update, and review course materials and curricula to reflect current industry standards and emerging technological threats.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research dissertations, and practical internships.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, university committees, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students within the School of Science and Technology.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Alternatively, candidates holding a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching experience in a tertiary institution are eligible to apply.
- Fresh Ph.D. holders are welcome to apply as this serves as the entry point, with scholarly publications considered a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern cybersecurity tools, network defense, ethical hacking, and information assurance.
