As a Lecturer II, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, fostering a secure digital future through cutting-edge teaching and impactful research.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Cyber Security and related computing disciplines at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic development.
- Conduct high-quality, peer-reviewed research in cyber security, network defense, information assurance, and related fields for publication in reputable journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committee assignments.
- Mentor students and provide academic guidance to support their holistic educational journey.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives that promote cybersecurity awareness.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree plus at least two (2) peer-reviewed journal publications and a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience at the university level will be considered.
