Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Nigeria's premier higher institution, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic academic professional to join our esteemed faculty as a Lecturer II in Book Publishing within the School of Agricultural Technology. As part of our commitment to academic excellence and practical training, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of future industry leaders through comprehensive teaching, rigorous research, and innovative curriculum delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Book Publishing and related courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise student research projects, academic assignments, and industrial attachments.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and institutional committee assignments.
- Contribute to community service and forge strategic linkages with commerce and industry partners.
- Doctorate degree in a relevant discipline, accompanied by at least three (3) conference or seminar papers and three (3) published journal articles.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of teaching, research, or relevant industrial experience.
- Candidates with a Master's degree must also have three (3) conference or seminar papers and three (3) published journal articles.
- Serving Lecturer III candidates must possess a relevant Master's degree, three (3) years of satisfactory service, two (2) conference papers, and two (2) journal articles.
