About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified professional to join our academic team as a Lecturer II in Accounting. In this role, you will help shape the next generation of financial leaders through engaging instruction, mentorship, and active participation in cutting-edge departmental research.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality undergraduate lectures and tutorials in various accounting courses using student-centred teaching methodologies.
- Utilize technology-enhanced teaching tools to foster an interactive and modern learning environment.
- Engage in active research projects and collaborate with senior faculty members to expand academic knowledge.
- Assess student performance, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback to promote positive learning outcomes.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental academic goals.
- Participate in community engagement initiatives and continuous professional development programs.
- Must hold a PhD or Master's degree in Accounting or a closely relevant field from a recognized university.
- Previous teaching experience in a tertiary institution or relevant industry experience in accounting is preferred.
- Must have successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or possess an exemption certificate.
- Strong passion for teaching, academic research, and student mentorship.
- Familiarity with digital and technology-enhanced teaching methods.
