Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Veterinary Microbiology and related subjects.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and academic committee assignments.
- Provide mentorship and academic counseling to students to foster their holistic professional development.
- Engage in community outreach programs and veterinary consultancy services that align with the university's mission.
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Veterinary Microbiology or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- A minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- Must possess a First Degree in a relevant field with not below a Second-Class Upper Division, OR a Second-Class Lower Division combined with a PhD.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic environment.
