Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Develop, update, and review curricula in alignment with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and modern industry trends.
  • Supervise undergraduate research projects, theses, and student internships.
  • Conduct high-impact academic research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, as well as community service initiatives.
  • Mentor students academically, professionally, and morally in line with the institutional vision of holistic development.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from a reputable and accredited university.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
  • Demonstrated evidence of scholarly publications in reputable local and international academic journals.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies such as COREN and NSE is highly advantageous.
