We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer I in International Relations to join our esteemed School of Social Sciences at our Mowe, Ogun State campus. In this role, you will deliver high-quality instruction, mentor students, and contribute to cutting-edge research that addresses contemporary global and national manpower needs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in International Relations and related disciplines within the School of Social Sciences.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university committees as assigned.
- Engage in community service and foster linkages between the university and relevant public and private sector organizations.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their professional and personal growth.
- Possession of a Ph.D. degree in International Relations or a closely related field from a reputable and accredited university.
- A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Strong evidence of relevant scholarly publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, inspire, and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
