We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Lecturer I in International Relations to join our vibrant Faculty of Social and Management Sciences and contribute to our expanding academic community.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in International Relations and related disciplines with high pedagogical standards.
- Conduct high-quality scholarly research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and provide academic mentorship to students.
- Develop innovative course materials, syllabi, and participate in comprehensive academic assessments.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees and community service initiatives.
- Must possess a PhD in International Relations, Political Science, International Studies, or a closely related discipline from a recognised institution.
- Demonstrated relevant teaching and research experience in a recognised tertiary institution.
- Strong portfolio of scholarly publications in reputable academic and professional journals.
- Exceptional ability to teach, mentor, and supervise students effectively in diverse learning environments.
- Strong research, analytical, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ICT tools for modern e-learning, virtual teaching, and academic research.
- Must currently reside in Abuja or be willing to relocate promptly.
