About the Role
Fountain University, owned by the Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), is currently seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to join our esteemed academic community as a Lecturer I in Information & Communication Technology. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Information and Communication Technology undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, dissertations, and academic research activities.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the advancement of ICT knowledge.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and university committee assignments.
- Mentor students academically and morally in alignment with the institutional core values.
- Engage in community service and institutional advancement initiatives that promote the mission of Fountain University.
- Must possess a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information and Communication Technology or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have served as a Lecturer II for a minimum of 2 years.
- Evidence of a minimum of 7 scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
