About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lecturer I in Economics to join our esteemed faculty in the School of Social Sciences at our Mowe, Ogun State campus.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Economics to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula that align with both academic standards and current industry needs.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, dissertations, and academic student activities.
- Conduct high-level academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, university committees, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Mentor students and provide academic advising to foster holistic student development.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Economics or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification teaching and research experience at the tertiary level.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills suited for a diverse student body.
- Ability to integrate practical industry insights into theoretical economic frameworks.
