We are currently seeking a dynamic, qualified, and motivated professional to join our vibrant academic community as a Lecturer I in the Department of Computer Science. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality education, conducting impactful research, and mentoring students to become innovative leaders in the global technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate Computer Science students.
- Design, update, and evaluate course curricula in alignment with National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and industry demands.
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects, theses, and dissertations.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed local and international journals.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, as well as community service initiatives.
- Must possess a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from a recognized and reputable university.
- A minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated evidence of consistent scholarly publications in high-impact academic journals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with a passion for teaching and mentorship.
