About the Role
Owolabi University is a dynamic, newly established private university located in Osun State, Nigeria, licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC). We are currently expanding our academic team at our take-off site in Osogbo and invite passionate academics to join us in shaping the future of higher education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Computer Science.
- Develop and update course curricula in alignment with NUC guidelines and industry standards.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, academic assignments, and practical internships.
- Conduct high-impact, peer-reviewed research and publish scholarly articles in reputable academic journals.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students within the Faculty of Science and Computing.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative tasks.
- Possession of a PhD Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- At least three (3) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a recognized university.
- A minimum of eight (8) high-quality scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor students and foster a collaborative learning environment.
