We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified professional to fill the position of Lecturer I (Accounting) within our esteemed Department of Management Science. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Lecturer I in Accounting, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in various accounting disciplines.
- Supervising student research projects, dissertations, and academic theses.
- Conducting high-quality, peer-reviewed research and publishing in reputable academic journals.
- Participating in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties.
- Mentoring students and providing academic guidance to foster professional growth.
- Contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance initiatives within the department.
Applicants must meet the following academic and professional criteria:
- Possession of a PhD or a Master's degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of tertiary teaching and research experience.
- At least three (3) peer-reviewed publications in reputable academic journals.
- A first degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division; or a Second-Class Lower Division accompanied by a PhD.
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
