Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in various cyber security and related computing courses.
- Develop, update, and review curriculum materials, course outlines, and instructional resources in line with global best practices.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic internships.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in cyber security, information assurance, ethical hacking, and network defense, publishing findings in reputable journals.
- Assess student performance through examinations, quizzes, assignments, and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to foster their holistic personal and professional development.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, faculty committees, curriculum development, and university-wide accreditation processes.
- Possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the tertiary education level with a strong commitment to academic excellence.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent professional credentials are a strong advantage.
- A proven track record of research publications in peer-reviewed academic journals and active participation in professional bodies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse student bodies.
