About the Role
Plan International is seeking a strategic and visionary Lead - Education Uninterrupted to spearhead our global education and Early Childhood Development portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will drive the evolution of our Scalable Programme Model, ensuring children and young people, especially girls in fragile and humanitarian contexts, access quality, uninterrupted learning.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic development and scaling of the Education Uninterrupted Programme Model aligned with global priorities.
- Translate global evidence and implementation learning into robust technical standards and impactful programme approaches.
- Champion gender-transformative, disability-inclusive, and youth-led educational initiatives across diverse global contexts.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with donors, multilateral organizations, and civil society to mobilize critical resources.
- Represent Plan International in high-level global education forums, influencing sector policies and thought leadership.
- Extensive strategic and technical experience in Education and Early Childhood Development (ECD) within international development or humanitarian sectors.
- Proven expertise in designing and scaling inclusive, gender-transformative, and rights-based education programmes.
- Strong background working in resource-constrained, conflict-affected, and emergency settings.
- Exceptional leadership, facilitation, and consensus-building skills across complex, matrixed global organizations.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a strong track record in external representation and resource mobilization.
