We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Laundry Personnel to join our dedicated housekeeping and hotel operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, sort, and wash all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry items efficiently.
- Operate industrial washing machines, tumble dryers, and ironing equipment safely.
- Inspect all linens and garments for stains, tears, or damage before and after the washing process.
- Fold, stack, and store clean laundry neatly in designated storage areas to maintain par levels.
- Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall organization of the hotel laundry workspace.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or maintenance needs promptly to management.
- Ensure the proper handling and measurement of cleaning chemicals in adherence to safety standards.
- Assist with periodic inventory management of laundry supplies, detergents, and linens.
- Deliver prompt and courteous customer service for any special guest laundry requests.
- Minimum of a SSCE or relevant professional certification in hospitality or related fields.
- Previous working experience in laundry operations, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy-duty laundry and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a high commitment to hygiene and cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Effective team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings as required.
