About the Role
SUSU College, a reputable private co-educational secondary school located in Nkpor, Anambra State, is seeking a passionate and qualified Languages Teacher to join our esteemed academic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the linguistic abilities and cultural appreciation of our Junior and Senior Secondary School students. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive language lessons aligned with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic milestones.
- Minimum of a B.Ed, B.Sc, or equivalent in Education or relevant language disciplines.
- Candidates holding an M.Sc or PhD are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience teaching languages at the secondary school level is an added advantage.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Must be available to attend the physical interview on Wednesday, 2nd September, 2026 at our campus located at #115 Limca Road, Nkpor, Anambra State.
