We are currently seeking a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our professional medical team and contribute to our high standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and parasitology.
- Ensure proper collection, labeling, processing, and storage of biological specimens adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and diagnostic instruments regularly.
- Maintain accurate records of all test results and ensure prompt delivery of reports to attending physicians.
- Strictly adhere to quality control standards, universal safety precautions, and infection control guidelines.
- Manage laboratory inventory, reagents, and supplies, reporting shortages proactively to management.
- Provide courteous, empathetic, and professional communication to patients during sample collection.
- Must possess a relevant degree, diploma, or professional certification in Medical Laboratory Science or Technology.
- Valid practicing license and registration with the relevant regulatory body in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience within a recognized hospital or clinic setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating modern laboratory diagnostic equipment and technology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with high professional ethics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24-hour healthcare environment with shift flexibility.
