About the Role
Zinance Limited is a dynamic Information Technology and Consulting firm committed to delivering innovative digital solutions and strategic advisory services. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and qualified Laboratory Technician to undertake a variety of technical laboratory procedures, handle sensitive equipment, analyze samples, and report critical findings to the laboratory manager.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, label, and analyze various samples including blood, toxic substances, and tissue according to protocol.
- Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures, making accurate observations and interpreting findings.
- Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify or reject hypotheses using refined scientific methods.
- Organize and store all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases strictly following safety instructions.
- Record all data and results in specified forms, both paper and electronic, with high accuracy and responsibility.
- Maintain equipment, assist in ordering laboratory supplies, and ensure a clean, orderly environment meeting all safety guidelines.
- Proven experience operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment and handling potentially dangerous substances.
- In-depth knowledge of QHSE systems, preventative safety measures, and laboratory best practices.
- Excellent physical condition and endurance required for a fast-paced laboratory setting.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and digital database systems.
- Strong ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and perform under pressure.
